A dozen people are running for Huntley School Board in this election, but I am the only one with over 30 years of commitment to education. I escaped a childhood of rural poverty, domestic violence and bullying to earn a Ph.D. from a Big Ten university. Education saved my life. That’s why I’ve dedicated much of my career to supporting the health and education of children and adults. The needs of our students must come first in any decisions we make about Huntley Schools. I will fight against intolerance and bigotry to foster a supportive and welcoming learning enviroment for every student. It is time to put our children first.
